* Nous sommes en 1992, je suis ado et j’achète mes deux premières K7, l’une est Diamonds & Pearls de Prince, l’autre Like A Prayer de Madonna.
Et de ce jour j’ai été obsédée par la pochette de Like a Prayer.
Le jean, les perles, la pose, la manucure parfaite, les bagues, tout ça était pour moi le comble du chic, du sexy, de ce à quoi je voulais ressembler adulte. Et donc depuis que je me suis mis à créer des choses cousues, j’avais envie de mélanger jean et perlouses, et de bosser en général autour de cet album. C’est chose faite

*It was 1992, I was a teenager and I bought my first two tapes, one Diamonds & Pearls by Prince, the other Like A Prayer by Madonna.
From that day on, I was obsessed with the Like a Prayer cover.
The jeans, the pearls, the pose, the perfect manicure, the rings, all of this was for me the height of chic, sexy, what I wanted to look like as an adult. And so, since I started creating sewn things, I wanted to mix jeans and pearls, and work in general around this album. And so it’s done.
The purple leatherette pieces echo the duet with Prince This is not a love song
